‘Brahmastra’: Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor kick start Varanasi schedule of their adventure-fantasy flick

Yesterday, we saw lovebirds Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt jet off to Varanasi to shoot for their upcoming action-adventure-fantasy film ‘Brahmastra‘. Today, their pictures from the film’s sets are doing the rounds of the social networking sites. With ‘Brahmastra’, Ranbir and Alia will be sharing screen space for the first time.

In the pictures that are now viral on social media, we can see Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt posing together. Reportedly, their pictures are from Ramnagar Fort and Chet Singh Fort. While Alia is seen sporting a desi look in her white Salwar-Kameez, Ranbir is at his casual best in black sleeveless tee and track pants.

Earlier, talking about the film’s Varanasi schedule, a source close to the development was quoted as saying in Bombay Times as, “Cameras for Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Mouni Roy starrer film are set to roll at the end of this month in the city, preparations for which have already begun. During their 20-day schedule, the film will be mostly canned at the Ramnagar Fort and parts of it inside Chet Singh Fort in Varanasi, for security reasons. The film’s sets are already under preparation inside the Ramnagar Fort. Ranbir, Alia and Mouni are expected to shoot for the film here.”

Well, it looks like we might get to hear more interesting insights regarding the Varanasi schedule of this highly anticipated film. Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, ‘Brahmastra’ is scheduled to release in Summer 2020.
