South superstar Nagarjuna has a special role in ‘Brahmastra’ reveals Karan Johar

Filmmaker Karan Johar says he is honored and excited to have southern superstar Nagarjuna play a special role in his upcoming production venture ‘Brahmastra’.

Karan Johar took to Twitter and wrote: “We are honoured and exceptionally excited to have the one and only Nagarjuna doing an extremely ‘special’ role in our film ‘Brahmastra’! Directed by Ayan Mukerji, (starring) Amitabh Bachchan, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor… Thank you Sir for your love and your beautiful energy.” KJo tweeted a photograph from the film’s shoot with this sweet caption.

A tweet from Karan Johar’s home production banner Dharma Productions read: “The ‘Brahmastra’ team is now bigger and grander! Apart from this project, Alia Bhatt had finished a schedule of Abhishek Verma’s ‘Kalank’ just before flying for ‘Brahmastra’ shoot. The actress has already wrapped ‘Gully Boy’ opposite Ranveer Singh which is set to hit theaters next year on Valentine’s Day. Whereas Ranbir Kapoor has ‘Shameshera’ and Luv Ranjan’s next in his kitty.

‘Brahmastra’ is a trilogy. Its first part will release on India’s Independence Day on August 15, 2019.
