‘Brahmastra’ prep mode on as Ranbir and Alia to start shooting in Israel from FEB

Recently, our paparazzi had spotted Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Ayan Mukerji leaving for Tel Aviv and now comes a picture of the trio from the beautiful location. Filmmaker Karan Johar who is producing the upcoming movie ‘Brahmastra’ has taken to social media and shared a picture of the three.

Sharing the picture, he writes, “The new year begins with the prep of #BRAHMASTRA….the countdown of the epic journey of our film begins! Filming commences in February 2018! Ayan Mukerji helms this magical trilogy! @SrBachchan #ranbir @aliaa08 and an exciting ensemble!”

As the tweet suggests, the filming for the movie begins in February. Also, the movie features Amitabh Bachchan who is missing from the picture.

‘Brahmastra’ is a trilogy and the first part will be releasing on August 15, 2019. Some time back, director Ayan Mukerji had revealed to IANS, the reason behind naming the film ‘Brahmastra’. He had stated, “It is set in India as it exists today but the name of the film is called ‘Brahmastra’ because the energy, wisdom and powers in the film come from ancient India.” (Also Read: Brahmastra: Alia Bhatt starts preparing for her first fantasy adventure film)
