Superstar Aamir Khan’s hit show ‘Satyamev Jayate’ is back with its second season, which will go on air from March 2. The 48-year-old actor received a lot of appreciation for creating a debate on country’s pressing social problems through the show, that dealt with a number of hard hitting social topics – female foeticide, healthcare scenario in India, domestic violence and so on.
As per sources, the second season of the much appreciated program ‘Satyamev Jayate’ will be seen on Star Plus and Doordashan’s DD National as before. He will present some topics revolving around today’s social issues. The topics that are likely to be discussed on the show this season include safety of women, future of India, etc. The prime focus will be on the crimes against women and the rape cases in the country. Along with it the ignorance of providing basic human needs will also be discussed in the show. Probably, the economic, social and political future of India will also be talked about.
The format will be entirely different from the first season, as in this season four episodes will be shown in a row and the show will take a break in between and will resume after some weeks. There will be total 13 episodes of the show and will focus on three prime topics.
