Breaking – Its Deepika Padukone in Karan Johar’s ‘Shuddhi’

The gorgeous ruling queen of Bollywood Deepika Padukone,  has bagged another prestigious project with the Midas of Bollywood Karna Johar. Yes it is confirmed, that the Diva has been signed as the leading lady of K Jo’s prestigious movie ‘Shuddhi’. Shuddhi is a period reincarnation love story.

According to sources, Deepika Padukone has been finalised for Karan Malhotra’s ‘Shuddhi’. After finishing ‘Happy New Year’, she moves on to Imtiaz Ali’s next with Ranbir, post which she would be shooting Shoojit Sircar’s ‘Piku’. She then moves on to shooting ‘Shuddhi’,that is expected to go on the floor end of the year.

The film was to initially have the jodi of Hrithik Roshan and Kareena Kapoor , but later Hrithik decided to opt out of the movie and Kareena too moved on.   So the casting had to be re-considered. While Deepika stands confirmed, options for the male lead are still under discussion.

Will it be Ranbir Kapoor or Ranveer Singh opposite the Diva in ‘Shuddhi’?
