Breaking: Deepika Padukone opposite Salman Khan in Sultan

Good news for Salman Khan and Deepika Padukone fans, their wish of seeing the two on big screen, will soon come true. If the latest buzz is to be believed Salman and Deepika will soon romance each other on-screen in Ali Abbas Zafar’s ‘Sultan’.

Ali Abbas Zafar’s Sultan, which stars Salman Khan, was slated to go on floors this year. But as Salman Khan is busy with Bajrangi Bhaijaan and Prem ratan Dhan Payo it has been pushed further. It was being rumoured that Katrina Kaif is being considered for the role. But now it seems it is Deepika Padukone.

Sources said, “Salman and Deepika were to co-star in Shuddhi, but she could not do that film. She has already done three films with Shahrukh Khan and was keen to do a film with Salman. Seems like this time around she will have her wish come true.”

Salman Khan so impressed with the story of Sultan that he has decided to start working on it much before Karan Johar’s ‘Shudhhi’.
