BREAKING: Priyanka Chopra & Nick Jonas welcome their first baby through surrogacy

Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas have welcomed their first baby together, via surrogacy. The actress took to her Instagram to inform fans and friends and share the good news. She issued a statement on her Instagram and tagged Nick in the post. Priyanka Chopra said in her statement that Nick and she have “welcomed a baby” via surrogacy. The couple asked for privacy during the special time as they focus on their family. They even thanked everyone for the love as they shared the good news with everyone across the world. The actress even dropped a red heart emoji.

Priyanka’s statement reads: “We are overjoyed to confirm that we have welcomed a baby via surrogate. We respectfully ask for privacy during this special time as we focus on our family. Thank you so much (red heart icon).”

Several celebrities reacted to the post made by Priyanka Chopra and showered love and wishes. Nick’s brother Joe Jonas dropped a red heart, showering his love. Lara Dutta commented, “Congratulations!!!” Lily Singh, who is a close friend of Priyanka and Nick’s made a sweet congratulatory comment. Her comment reads, “AYE!!!!!!!! Can’t wait to cuddle them!!!” Huma Qureshi wrote, “This is amazing! @priyankachopra Congratulations @nickjonas,” while Pooja Hegde commented, “Congratulations Sending you all loads of love and light!”

Meanwhile, it was only recently when The Matrix Resurrections actress opened up about having kids with Nick. While speaking with Vanity Fair, Chopra had said that having kids is a big part of Nick and her desire for the future. She said, “They’re a big part of our desire for the future. By God’s grace, when it happens, it happens.”

Chopra and Nick tied the knot on December 1, 2018. They had an intimate wedding celebration in Rajasthan’s Umaid Bhavan Palace which was attended by close friends and family. It was only recently when divorce rumours between Priyanka and Nick had made it to the headlines. For the unversed, reports suggested that there is trouble between the couple after the actress dropped her last names ‘Chopra’ and ‘Jonas’ from her social media handles.
