Breaking – Rs 7 crore on a song in ‘Happy New Year’

Superstar Shahrukh Khan is all set to shoot for an expensive song for “Happy New Year’, his upcoming film with Director Farah Khan. Rumours abound in Bollywood that SRK’s this song will be among the most expensive ones shot in Bollywood. Also apparently the film’s first look will be launched during the IPL season that starts shortly.

As per sources, “Farah will be shooting a song with the entire star cast of the film and the budget for this song is being pegged at a whopping Rs. 7 crore.”

Farah Khan added,  “I don’t know the exact cost but it is definitely going to be shot on a grand scale. In my two decades in this industry, I have never shot a song in as lavish a manner as this one.”

Along with Shah Rukh, the film also stars Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood and Boman Irani. The film is slated to release during Diwali.
