Bollywod actor Sanjay Dutt’s parole has been extended by another 30 days. Days after the actor had asked for a further extension on his parole citing his wife Manayata’s illness. Dutt who is lodged at Yerawada jail in Pune  has been out of jail to take care of his sick wife Manyata who had been diagonised with a tumour and had to undergo surgey but at present is at home.
According to sources, Dutt had initially requested for a further one-month extension on his parole. The actor has been out of jail on parole due to his wife Manayata’s illness for the last two months. He had come out on parole on December 21, 2013. He was supposed to go back into Yerawada jail on January 21, but his parole was extended to February 21. He then asked for a further extension to be by his wife’s side. According to rules, a convict gets a maximum of 90-days parole, of which Sanjay Dutt has finished 60 days.
Sources further added, the news was confirmed by Pune Divisional Commissioner Prabhakar Deshmukh who said, “the extension has been given to the actor after the police submitted a medical report of his wife Manayata Dutt, who is not well and is under treatment. After this there will be no more extension.”
In this manner soon we will forget that Sanju was ever in prison.
