Breaking: Shahid Kapoor confirms December wedding

The ‘Haider’ actor Shahid Kapoor was recently in news after rumours of his engagement to a Delhi girl and that he will tie the knot with her surfaced. The actor had neither confirmed nor denied the rumours, even though the girl Mira Rajput had denied it all. Now after a week of speculation, Shahid Kapoor has finally confirmed that he is indeed getting married this year. Shahid Kapoor will be tying the knot with Delhi based Mira Rajput.

Shahid Kapoor said, “Engagement hasn’t happened but marriage is on the cards at the end of the year and it’s important to clarify it in front of the media. She’s just a regular girl and (I am ) a regular guy. Can’t say anything more. I am very happy.”

Sources said, “Shahid is very serious about Mira and he is prepared to get married to her soon. He wants to keep his relationship away from the media glare”.

It seems that Shahid had met Mira at a Radha Soami Satsang Beas through their spiritual guru. Both their families are an ardent followers of the group. Shahid’s father Pankaj Kapur had visited Mira’s family at their home in the Chattarpur Farms, Delhi. Shahid Kapoor even visited the Rajputs when Mira’s older sister delivered her baby.
