Breaking – When Amitabh Bachchan greeted Rekha with a smile

Bollywood veterans Amitabh Bachchan and Rekha, one time onscreen and alleged off screen couple were seen exchanging smiles and namaste . Yes its true, and it happened in presence of Big B’s wife Jaya Bachchan at the Screen Awards. Well its no secret that the two of them had scorched the screen with their onscreen chemistry, but after the making of movie ‘Silsila’ reel love triangle that seemed to mirror the rumoured real-life one. Big B never acknowledged the Diva in public.

As per sources, Amitabh Bachchan ended the 33 years of  snubbing by greeting the beaming Umrao Jaan (Rekha) with a namaste and a smile.  Big B’s wife, the  Jaya Bachchan, also greeted her reported one-time rival Rekha and was photographed clasping her hand.  The break up in Big B and Rekha’s relationship took place when Amitabh Bachchan had an almost-fatal accident on the sets of Coolie, and it served to cement his relationship with his wife.

Well seems like the Bachchan’s have decided to let bygone’s be bygone .
