Bulbul: When a disguised Divya Khosla Kumar was mistaken as a man!

She has been a part of many popular music videos, apart from Hindi films. It’s been quite long since she went beyond being just an actress and donned the director’s hat. Divya Khosla Kumar is now set to venture into short films. She will be seen playing the titular character in T series’ production ‘Bulbul’.

The character of Bulbul, a joyous, chirpy and content woman, required Divya to don a number of looks, each different from each other in all aspects. In one such instance, she decked up as a Sardar. It so happened that during the shoot, that Divya was required to use a restroom. Disguised as a Sardar, she entered a school’s ladies restroom. A few women were already inside and they actually thought a man had gatecrashed into the ladies washroom! They started yelling at her, and soon, a female crew member came to Divya’s rescue and convinced the other women that it was just a woman dressed as a man!

“It was a hilarious situation, we all still have a laugh over it. But I am happy that the women there fell for the disguise, cause then our work to convince the audience that I am a sardar is fulfilled,” Divya laughingly said.

Now we are even more curious to find out how well she pulled off the Sardar look!

‘Bulbul’ is directed by Ashish Panda and has been shot across Mumbai and Shimla.
