Netizens in several parts of India have been strongly protesting against the newly introduced Citizenship Amendment Act. As the protest has become the momentum, because of the violence that took place in Delhi, several Bollywood celebrities expressed their anger toward Delhi Police. On the other side, few celebs have urged people to do protest in a non-violence way. The legendary actor, Rajinikanth took to his Twitter handle and expressed his views on the ongoing protest. While few have lauded the actor, few have slammed him.
Rajinikanth shared a cryptic note on his official Twitter handle, which can be read in Tamil. His tweet reads, “Violence and rioting should not become a way to find a solution for any issue. I request the people of India to stay united and vigilant keeping in mind the nation’s security and welfare. The ongoing violence gives me great pain (sic).”

Although the ‘Darbar’ actor spoke up on the CAA Protest, he didn’t take any stand. His mixed view on the same made Twitterati trend the hashtags in his support as well as against. While some users supported him for opposing violence, others slammed him for remaining silent on CAA. Here’s take a look at what netizens have been tweeting.
