Actor Ajay Devgn has been approached for a Hindi version of a Malayalam film ‘Drishyam’, a role that is also being played by Tamil superstar Kamal Haasan too. This Malayalam crime thriller in which Mohanlal played the father of an 18-year-old daughter is one of the biggest hits in Kerala. And now, it looks like the film is quite hot on the remake circuit in other languages as well.
According to sources, its being said that it is not only being made in Tamil with Kamal Haasan in the lead role but also in Telugu with superstar Venkatesh who will play the lead in its Telugu remake, which will be directed by Tamil actress Sripriya. Whereas for the Hindi version Ajay Devgn is being approached.
Sources further added, it seems not only is Ajay busy with back-to-back assignments like ‘Action Jackson’ and ‘Singham 2’, but he may also play father to a teenager. The makers are approaching the star but if he refuses they have a back-up star ready for the same project.
