Cannes 2022: Aishwarya Rai Bachchan dazzles in a gorgeous pastel pink gown on Day 3

Bollywood beauty Aishwarya Rai Bachchan made her second red carpet appearance at the Cannes Film Festival on Thursday. She stole the limelight in a pastel pink gown designed by Gaurav Gupta. The actress left the fashion police smitten as she graced the event in the shimmery gown. Aishwarya posed in her signature style and waved to the cheering fans and the shutterbugs.

The Diva is back to turning heads with her recent outing and fans are in love with her latest look from Day 3 of the prestigious event:

The designer shared her look on his official Instagram account and wrote, “Aishwarya Rai Bachchan wears The Venus Sculpture; a custom Gaurav Gupta Couture gown for the 75th Festival de Cannes. Inspired by the birth of Venus, the goddess of beauty and love, rising from the scalloped shell; she transitions from the infinite, pure as a pearl.”

Aishwarya looked stunningly beautiful in the pleated, architectural gown in designer Gaurav Gupta’s signature style. The dress, in pale pink streaked with silver, rose up from the shoulders and formed a sort of giant halo behind Aishwarya’s head. The beauty accessorized the maximalist look with minimal jewellery, soft makeup and a simple hairdo. She attended the premiere of the film Armageddon Time at the 75th Cannes Film Festival.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan had earlier worn a pink Valentino pantsuit for her first appearance and donned a black ball gown for her second look.

On the work front, Aishwarya will be seen in Mani Ratnam’s Ponniyin Selvan. The movie is slated to release on September 30, 2022.
