This is what CBFC chief Pahlaj Nihalani has to say about kissing scenes in ‘Befikre’

We all were shocked when we saw the first poster of Ranveer Singh and Vaani Kapoor-starrer ‘Befikre’. Well, in the poster, we got to see Ranveer and Vaani kissing each other, and then in most of the posters, the actors were seen kissing. Few days ago, the makers had launched a track from the movie titled ‘Labon Ka Karobar’. Well, the track doesn’t feature the lead actors, but it has many kissing scenes in it. Recently, CBFC Chief, Pahlaj Nihalani spoke about the kissing scenes in the song and the film.

He said, “The song ‘Labon Ka Karobar’ has not come to us. It is out on the internet and therefore falls outside our purview. As for the kisses in ‘Befikre’, they have to be seen within the film’s context. As far as I know, ‘Befikre’ is set in Paris, the city of love where public affection is normal. However as I said, we will look at the film and its content when it comes to us.”

We wonder if ‘Befikre’ will face the scissors of CBFC or it will be passed without any cuts.
