CBFC clears Ajay Devgn’s ‘Shivaay’, passes with a U/A certificate

This morning, we reported that actor-filmmaker Ajay Devgn‘s upcoming directorial ‘Shivaay‘ is yet to be cleared by the Censor Board as there were reports that it has already been passed with a single cut. This was confirmed by Ajay himself who had took to his Twitter account to clarify the same. Now, there is a good news for the fans of Ajay’s latest venture. ‘Shivaay’ has got a green signal from the CBFC, who have passed it with a U/A certificate.

Ajay took to his Twitter handle to share the news, and wrote, “Shivaay has been certified U/A. CBFC was highly cordial & co-operative. Many thanks to @NihalaniPahlaj ji.” [sic]

‘Shivaay’ is a action thriller which sees the return of Ajay Devgn on director’s chair after a gap of 8 years. Touted to be the most ambitious project of the ‘Drishyam’ actor, it also stars veteran actor Dilip Kumar’s niece Sayyeshaa Saigal and Polish actress Erika Kaar, both making their debuts in Bollywood.
