CBI likely to summon eyewitness who saw Sushant Singh Rajput meet Rhea Chakraborty on June 13

It was earlier reported that Rhea’ Chakraborty’s Prime Rose Apartments’ neighbour claimed that the actress had met Sushant Singh Rajput on the evening of June 13, a day before his death. Whereas Rhea had claimed that she left Sushant’s house on June 8 and that she never met him after that. Now, new reports state that the Central Bureau of Investigation ( CBI) is likely to summon the eyewitness who claimed to have seen Rhea meet Sushant on June 13.

According to a report by Republic TV, Rhea’s neighbour informed the portal that she was informed by an eyewitness who does not want to reveal their identity that Sushant and Rhea were seen together on June 13 and also said that this “information has been passed on to the CBI”.

Further revealing what the eyewitness said, the neighbour was quoted saying as “Sushant dropped Rhea off around 6-6:30 pm. And Sushant was driving alone and there was no driver. The person (eye witness) told me this in June itself before any of this had gone to CBI or even before Rhea had said anything. The person had said, ‘Oh! he passed away, I had just seen him drop her off on 13th evening.’ Nothing was known at that time that what else will come up. I have not seen anything and yes, I am Rhea’s neighbour.”

Meanwhile, Rhea is still in judicial custody under the drug probe and the court will announce their decision about Rhea’s bail plea today.
