Ranveer Singh to Arjun Kapoor, B-Town celebs applaud Anushka Sharma for standing up against false allegations

Anushka Sharma has shut down haters and people who have put false allegations against her about getting preferential treatment because she is the wife of the Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli. Former cricketer Farokh Engineer made comments on Anushka Sharma about having seen members of the Indian selection committee fetching cups of tea for her. But she gave back by saying “I drink coffee” in an open letter. Anushka was applauded by B-Town celebs for standing up for herself.

After Anushka published her tell-all letter, she was applauded by her co-actors starting with Ranveer Singh, then Arjun Kapoor, Parineeti Chopra, and many others.

Ranveer wrote in his ‘Gully Boy’ slang, “Hahahaha! hard hard … Diyela hai … ??? (sic).” Sonam Kapoor was very appreciative of Anushka. Arjun Kapoor wrote, “She hits it out f the park ??? massive strike huge hit it’s outta here !!! ??? (sic).”

Jacqueline Fernandez said that she is glad Anushka spoke about it, “Totally look up to you!! Unfortunately, silence by us makes it true when In fact we are just trying to be dignified about things.. glad you spoke up, wish people would be just more.. human! (sic).”

Farokh Engineer also apologized to Anushka Sharma after this open letter went viral. He told Republic TV that his comment came out in a jest and it is blown out of proportion. “I just said it in a jest and it’s being made a mountain out of a molehill. Poor Anushka has been dragged into it, she is a lovely girl. Virat Kohli is a brilliant captain and coach Ravi Shastri is extremely good. The entire matter is being blown up unnecessarily. It turned out to be a selector as he was wearing an all India blazer.”
