Two mega movies of the year are all set to clash at the box office this December. Yes, Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and Rohit Shetty’s ‘Dilwale’ will be crossing swords this year. Good News is that the movies have been passed by The Central Board of Film Certification with no cuts. This has happened after a very long time that a film has been certified by the Censor Board so.
Where Bajirao Mastani has been allotted a “U” Certificate, ‘Dilwale’ on the other hand has been given a “UA” certificate. “U” certification means it can be exhibited to all ages without any restrictions. While “UA” signifies parental discretion is required for children below 12 years.
It is truly an achievement for the movies to be passed without any cuts. ‘Bajirao Mastani’ is embroiled in a controversy as the descendants of the Peshwa are not happy with some scenes of the historical romance. But we do hope the issue is solved soon.
Now the stage has been set and the verdict will be out on December 18, as to who will be winning the crown at the Box Office.
