Chaava teaser out: Vicky Kaushal yields the sword and courage in this magnetic saga based on emperor Chatrapati Sambhaji’s life

Actor Vicky Kaushal is all set to rock the audience with his portrayal of a historic character in the much-awaited movie Chaava whose teaser has been released today. This is the first time, Vicky Kaushal will be seen in a period film and like always, he has not disappointed us with his appearance. From his get-up to his action mode, Vicky looks Chaava in all ways. It seems like Chaava is going to be the next blockbuster, thanks to Vicky who looks terrific as an emperor.

The first glimpse of the teaser starts with a fully armoured Vicky riding the horse fearlessly. In the second scene, we get to see him fighting with the Mughals with utmost rage inside him as he fights them like a one-man army. Despite being alone on the battlefield amid 1000 soldiers, Vicky fights them like a true defender of Dharma. We also see him exuding the royalty and the valour of a king in the teaser when he sits on the throne like an emperor.

However, the one person who has left everyone starstruck is the appearance of Akshaye Khanna as Emperor Aurangzeb. He looks unrecognisable and that’s what intrigued us the most. Talking about the cinematography, it seems like Chaava looks grandeur and everything is larger-than-life. The frames and the angles look visually stunning but it will remind you of all the historical movies like Padmaavat, Bajirao Mastani, Panipat, Jodhaa Akbar and many more. Nevertheless, there’s a different charm to this movie that will surely leave you impressed.

Directed by Laxman Utekar, Chaava stars Vicky Kaushal, Rashmika Mandanna & Akshaye Khanna. Written by Rishi Virmani and music by A R Rahman, the movie is scheduled to release on December 6.
