Emraan’s ‘Cheat India’ poster lays bare the sad reality of education in India

After revealing the logo poster, the makers of ‘Cheat India’ have revealed the first poster of the film and it looks quite intriguing while revealing few details about the plot.

Going by the poster, it looks like a student is trying to clear a certain entrance exam in exchange of money. The poster was shared by Emraan Hashmi on his Twitter with a caption, “#NakalMeinHiAkalHai. In an interview with Mumbai Mirror, debutant Shreya opened up about her co-star Emraan and the fun they have on the sets of ‘Cheat India. The actress said,“Emraan is warm, kind and helpful. There’s a great banter going on which helps build up the relationship on-screen. We are having a blast and everyone’s horrified by how much I can eat.”

On the other hand, while speaking about the project, Emraan told BollywoodLife, “The script and title of Cheat India are supremely powerful. This is among the most engaging and riveting stories I’ve read in a while and I am thrilled to be essaying what I believe will be a landmark role in my filmography. I am also looking forward to working with some formidable partners – Soumik, an amazing storyteller, Ellipsis, the new kids with a pulse on clutter-breaking content and marketing, and T-Series, with whom I share an old association on music and films.”

The film is backed by Bhushan Kumar, Atul Kasbekar, Emraan and Tanuj Garg and will lock horns with Hrithik Roshan and Mrunal Thakur’s ‘Super 30’ and Kangana Ranaut’s ‘Manikarnika’ on 25th January 2019.
