Check Out : Akshay Kumar’s new look from ‘Airlift’

Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar whose last release Neeraj Pandey’s ‘Baby’ was well received. The Khiladi is at present busy shooting for Raja Krishna Menon’s ‘Airlift’ in U.A.E. Airlift is the story of the war torn Kuwait and how a single man helped many to escape from the danger zone.

Akshay Kumar will be playing the role of an affluent Indian businessman who considers himself a Kuwaiti. Actress Nimrat Kaur of The Lunch-box fame will be playing the role of his wife. Airlift is an edge-of-the-seat thriller and is the story of the biggest ever human evacuation in the history of mankind. who,

It has Akshay Kumar though initially considers himself a Kuwaiti rather an Indian, finding himself and the lives of his family in danger, becomes eventually the man who helps evacuate 1,70,000 Indians from Kuwait and brings them back safely to India.

To shoot the film, the director Raja Menon needed to recreate Kuwait and Baghdad of that time. Here we have Akshay shooting in an old street of Ras-Al-Khaimah, which looks just like Kuwait in 1990. Akshay Kumar dressed in a suit is seen standing at a godown having a look at used materials placed over there on a bright sunny day.

‘Airlift’ will hit big screens on 22nd January 2016.
