Abhishek Chaubeys upcoming hard hitting film Udta Punjab‘s trailer hit the right notes with the viewers. Shahid Kapoor, Kareena Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Diljit Dosanjh’s looks from the film were appreciated by masses. However, There was one fan who was not pleased with Alia’s portrayal of a Bihari migrant dressed in tattered clothes and using abusive language. She criticized the ‘Shaandaar’ actress for stereotyping the Biharis in ‘Udta Punjab’ recently.

The fan penned an open letter to Alia Bhatt in which she ranted against the Bhatt gal.The fan said that this is not how Biharis behave. Soon the open letter was seen trending on social network. Seems like the fans criticism hit a nerve for Alia responded with a vengeance.
The ‘2 States’ actress who is all set to enchant her fans with her spectacular acting skills in the noir drama, took to Twitter and gave a prompt reply shutting up the critic.

The actress has made her point without pinpointing anyone. Looks like the Bhatt gal has finally grown claws.

‘Udta Punjab’ is all about the rising drug problem in the state. It will be hitting the screens on 17 June.
