Filmmaker Omung Kumar is gearing up to wrap up the last shooting schedule of his upcoming venture ‘Sarbjit‘. The movie is anticipated for various reasons, one being the ensemble cast of actors like Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Randeep Hooda, Richa Chadha and Darshan Kumar. The movie is a biopic based on an Indian farmer named Sarabjit Singh who was convicted for terrorism and spying in Pakistan. The movie presents the struggle of his sister Dalbir Kaur who tried to bring justice to her brother for almost 23 years before he died in Pakistani Jail.

Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will be seen playing the role of Dalbir Kaur whereas Randeep Hooda is portraying the victim Sarabjit Singh. Apart from these central characters, one more integral part is of Sukhpreet Kaur, wife of Sarabjit which is essayed by Richa Chadha. Recently, a new still of this talented actress is out where we could see her in a de-glam avatar.

This new picture from the movie shows Richa’s character Sukhpreet with her child tied up on her back and sticking a poster of her husband Sarabjit with ‘Missing’ written on top of it.

Certainly, this would be an important sequence in the movie where we could see a difficult situation faced by a wife not knowing where her husband has vanished, whereas he would be seen equally traumatised somewhere in the darkness of a jail.

‘Sarbjit’ is slated to release on May 20, 2016.
