Actor Riteish Deshmukh, will soon be seen depicting the role of a musician in his upcoming film ‘Banjo’. The ‘Housefull’ actor was seen sporting a beard and a pony at various events he attended in recent times. Well, now the reason behind the long mane is finally out.

The first look of Riteish Deshmukh from his upcoming film ‘Banjo’ has been revealed, and finally we realise why the actor was sporting shoulder length hair these days. The actor tweeted,

Sources added, “The film is a journey, rather than a story. It is a journey in which someone crosses seven seas to meet her dreams. And some reach their hearts to meet themselves. Orchestrated by destiny, a DJ from the US meets a Banjo party from Mumbai. They take the leap, they fly, they rise, they stumble, they dust, and they stand again.”

The ‘Grand Masti’ actor will be playing a street musician in noted Marathi director Ravi Jadhav upcoming musical based on the life of Banjo players in Maharastra. The film has Riteish romancing Nargis Fakhri who is playing the role of a DJ. ‘Banjo’ is produced by Krishika Lulla.
