Check out: Shahid Kapoor’s army officer look in ‘Rangoon’

Ever since Shahid Kapoor has started his journey in Bollywood, he tasted success with few projects like ‘Vivah’ and ‘Jab We Met’ but what made him look as a true performer was his first double role act of brothers Charlie and Guddu in the 2009 crime thriller ‘Kaminey’ which gave him a prominent mark in films at that period of time.

After giving a string of flops he pulled out a role of a lifetime again when he played Prince Hamlet’s Indian adaptation role ‘Haider’ which was set in Kashmir in 2014. Both these films came as a reinforcement proving his intensity as an actor by one common savior, director Vishal Bhardwaj who is collaborating with him in his next period romantic project titled ‘Rangoon.’

Shahid Kapoor who is playing an Army officer in the film was snapped while shooting in Film City with his army uniform costume. Shahid who faced a debacle with his last film ‘Shaandaar’ is really working hard for this film by sweating regularly in his gym sessions.

Shahid Kapoor shared this picture on his Instagram account as well. He posted:

Certainly his hard work has paid off with this perfect look he has donned for this love story set during World War II.

So now it’s just waiting for his fans to check out his performance as the officer, would it disappoint or turn a winning point completing the 3rd successful collaboration between Shahid and Vishal Bhardwaj. We have to wait and see.

The film also features Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles. ‘Rangoon’ is produced by Sajid Nadiadwala and is slated to release on October 14, 2016.
