Shahid Kapoor has time and again proved his versatility as a performer with films like ‘Kaminey’ and ‘Haider’ in his filmography. The actor who considers filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj as a mentor, is now giving his best shot while on their third collaboration together titled ‘Rangoon‘.

This movie is a period love story set against the backdrop of Second World War in 1940’s and will feature Shahid in the role of a tough army officer. The actor is been following some intense workout sessions of real army officers to get into the skin of the character.

Recently, the actor who is shooting for this movie in north eastern parts of India shared a new picture of him from the sets on his Instagram account.

Shahid Kapoor, who returned to Mumbai on Monday night completing this shooting schedule of ‘Rangoon’, himself claims it to be as the most demanding and exhausting schedule of his life. Completely covered in mud with his battlefield attire, this picture of Sasha is making us curious enough to know what surprises have been kept in store for everyone waiting for this movie.

‘Rangoon’ also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kangana Ranaut in lead roles making it the first time for all three actors to be sharing the screen space in a movie.

It is slated to release on September 30, 2016.
