Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Chhapaak’s Delhi schedule wrap up; Meghna Gulzar shares pictures with the team

Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Chhapaak’ went on floors in March this year in Delhi and today, the entire team has wrapped up the Delhi shoot. Director Meghna Gulzar took to her Twitter handle to share the pictures with her team; thereby calling it a wrap of the first schedule. Sharing the news, she wrote, “Happily halfway done!

The leaked pictures and videos have increased our curiosity and we can’t now wait for the movie to release. The first look poster of Deepika, who is playing Malti in the movie, has received an overwhelming response. As she is playing the acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal, the ‘Piku’ actor is sporting some heavy prosthetics to get into the skin of the character.

Apart from Deepika, Vikrant Massey will also be seen in the movie. He is playing her partner in the movie. Yesterday, a leaked kissing scene of Deepika and Vikrant from their sets went viral on the internet.

‘Chhapaak’ is based on the acid-attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The movie is co-produced by Deepika and this is her first venture into production. The movie will hit the screens on January 10, 2020.
