Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Chhapaak’ has been grabbing headlines for his impactful story. The film also has been in the news as a certain section of the netizens demanded to boycott it after Deepika visited the JNU campus.
Recently, Riteish Deshmukh gave a very apt reply to a troll criticising the makers of ‘Chhapaak’.
After watching ‘Chhapaak’, Riteish Deshmukh praised the film on his Twitter handle. The actor wrote, “Just watched #Chappak a brilliant film by one of my favourite filmmakers @meghnagulzar – @deepikapadukone’s portrayal of an acid attack survivor, her pain, her courage, her fight is pitch-perfect. great debut as a producer @masseysahib is such a wonderful actor-”
The actor continued that his heart goes out to Laxmi Agarwal and that she has inspired him.

Now the comment has been deleted but Riteish hit back at the troll by saying he should go and watch the movie first. The actor wrote, “बेटा पहले जाके पिक्चर देख !! फिर यह सवाल पूछ“”

These stupid questions have been stemming from the rumours spread on social media which claims that the religious identity of Malti’s assailant in the film has been changed.
‘Chhapaak’ is helmed by Meghna Gulzar, and co-produced by Fox Star Studios, Deepika Padukone’s KA Production. The film released today.
