‘Chhapaak’ Trailer: Acid attack survivor Rangoli Chandel is all praise for this Deepika Padukone starrer

The trailer of Deepika Padukone starrer ‘Chhapaak’ released today and it has got an overwhelming response from Deepika’s fans and celebs. Also, Kangana Ranaut’s sister Rangoli Chandel is all praise for this Deepika starrer. Rangoli took to her Twitter handle to laud the trailer and Deepika’s performance.

She tweeted, “Meghna and Deepika will earn a lot of tears from this film, what my family and I went through along with the prejudice we faced was worse than death… story of an acid attack survivor need to reach this nation, praying that it works?”.

For the unversed, Rangoli is also an acid attack survivor who went through 54 surgeries after a guy threw one-litre acid on her face.

Talking about ‘Chhapaak’, the movie is based on the real-life story of acid attack survivor Laxmi Agarwal. The trailer shows Malti’s (Deepika Padukone) journey from her getting attacked, struggling for justice to living a happy life. Director Meghna Gulzar has left no stone unturned to make it spine chilling and moving. The movie is releasing on January 10, 2020.
