‘Chhichhore’: Here’s why Nitesh Tiwari took actors in their 30s for playing young as well as old characters

‘Chhichhore’ is riding high on the success of its trailer with 20+ million views within a day. Director Nitesh Tiwari gave away some really interesting insights on his star cast fluctuating between their youth and old age phases with utmost ease.

Nitesh Tiwari shared, “We thought that actors in their 30s would fit the bill as they are [malleable] — they can lose weight and start looking like college students. Similarly, if they gain weight, they can effortlessly look like middle-aged people. We also studied how people age — be it greying or loss of hair.”

The movie’s trailer has all kinds of emotions involved in the bond of friendship: love, anger, humour and sorrow. The makers of ‘Chhichhore’ have done a commendable job by crafting these friendship bonds with perfection.

‘Chhichhore’ marks the coming together of Sajid Nadiadwala and Fox Star Studios after they delivered hits like ‘Judwaa 2’ and ‘Baaghi 2’. It stars an ensemble cast of Sushant Singh Rajput and Shraddha Kapoor along with Varun Sharma, Prateik Babbar, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Naveen Polishetty and Nalneesh Neel.
