Chhorii Teaser: Nushratt Bharuccha starrer promises to be a spine-chilling horror flick

The makers of Chhorii dropped its teaser today. The movie stars Nushratt Bharuccha as the protagonist. It is directed by Vishal Furia and produced by T-Series, Crypt TV, and Abundantia Entertainment. Chhorii will premiere on November 26, 2021, on Amazon Prime Video. The movie revolves around Sakshi (Nushrratt Bharuccha) experiencing events involving paranormal activity in a secluded village. The teaser gives a glimpse of spine-chilling events that will unfold on November 26. Its eerie background music, cinematography set the right tone for a horror flick. The mystery behind all the horror events will make Chhorii a great watch for sure. It promises to be an edge-of-the-seat thriller.

For the unversed, Chhorri is a remake of the Marathi film Lapachhapi. The film was directed by Vishal Furia, and it won several domestic and international awards. It also stars Mita Vashisht, Rajesh Jais, Saurabh Goyal, and Yaanea Bharadwaj.

In early October, the makers dropped the first motion poster of Chhorii. This is Nushratt’s first movie in the horror genre.

Earlier, while talking to Times of India, Nushrratt said that Chhorii is not just a horror film, but it will bring to light a deep-rooted social message. She further said, “My stress is that we have taken the responsibility that too in a genre, which is difficult to crack. If it is a comedy, it is still easy to crack. The spectrum of finding anything funny is larger as you can laugh at something as simple as a knock knock joke also.”
