Chris Hemsworth on injuring Randeep Hooda in ‘Extraction’: He wasn’t angry at me but I felt very embarrassed

Randeep Hooda is all set to make his Hollywood debut with ‘Extraction’ that also has Chris Hemsworth. In an interaction with PTI, Chris Hemsworth said that he was blown away by the welcome he received in India while shooting for the movie. Sharing about his experience in India, the ‘Avengers’ star said, “We had such a great time in India. People were beyond welcoming. I’ve never had that kind of response. I was blown away. I thought I was Beatles or something.”

‘Extraction’ is set in the Indian subcontinent. On this, he said, “It was something that I haven’t seen a lot in this setting. It has some beautiful set pieces and it gave me a chance to work and interact with wonderful people. We had such a great time in India,”

He was also all praise for Randeep Hooda.“With Randeep, it’s wonderful. Our first introduction was… We had three weeks of fighting each other and we both had our fair share of cuts and bruises. And actually a couple of times I nicked him, but it was by accident and I felt very embarrassed,” said Chris.

He further said, “He (Randeep) wasn’t angry at me. He has been great to work with. And then we’ve had little moments of quiet dialogue.”

Earlier talking about this association with the film, Randeep said, “I get to do a lot of action in the movie. I might be the first Indian male actor to do such an action-packed role in a Hollywood film. It was a great experience working with Hemsworth, Russo brothers and the director, Sam Hargrave.”

‘Extraction’ will be streaming on Netflix from April 24, 2020.
