Cinematographer PC Sreeram kangana ranaut

India’s legendary cinematographer PC Sreeram recently rejected a film starring Kangana Ranaut in the lead. Without revealing exactly which film, PC Sreeram said that he felt uneasy about taking up this project. Reacting to Sreeram’s decision the actress has said that it is entirely her loss.

Yesterday, taking to his Twitter handle, the national award-winning cinematographer wrote, “Had to reject a film as it had Kangana Ranaut as the lead. eep down I felt uneasy and explained my stand to the makers and they were understanding. Some times its only abt what feels right. Wishing them all the best(sic)”

Replying to his tweet, Kangana said she don’t know what made him feel uneasy about her. I missed the opportunity to work with a legend like you sir, it’s entirely my loss, I don’t know what exactly made you uneasy about me but I am glad you took the right call, wish you all the best(sic)”

Celebrated cinematographer PC Sreeram has worked extensively for Mani Ratnam, Kamal Haasan, and R Balki. He also one of the founding members of Indian Society of Cinematographers (ISC).

While a section of the netizens welcomed Sreeram’s decision there were some who pointed out that this is not a professional thing to do.

Meanwhile, Kangana arrived in Mumbai today amidst a huge uproar. Her Mumbai office was partially demolished by BMC. Slamming Maharashtra CM Uddhav Thackeray, Kangana vowed to bounce back.
