Citadel: Russo Brothers say Priyanka Chopra is going to be amazing in the series; call her an incredible star

Desi girl Priyanka Chopra is on a roll. The terrific actress has shattered the glass ceiling and is on her way to showcase to the world what an outstanding actress she is. PeeCee will be next seen in Russo Brothers’ web series Citadel. Yes, the actress will be working with the maverick directors of Avengers fame.

In a recent interview, Joe and Anthony Russo, popularly known as Russo Brothers, called the desi girl an incredible star. The director duo heaped praises on the actress and called her amazing.

Speaking about working with Priyanka Chopra in Citadel, Joe told Indian Express, “She’s an incredible star. I mean I think she has been amazing. We just had a table read of the show a couple of days ago and it was fantastic. We are so proud of that show. We are excited for audiences to see it. We are just beginning production on it now. ”

The directors refrained from sharing any details on the show but assured their fans and followers that Priyanka will be amazing in it. Now that the Russo brothers have expressed their excitement about working with the Barfi actress, we are all the more eager to watch their upcoming series.

In Citadel, Priyanka is apparently cast opposite Richard Madden of Game of Thrones fame. The actress will be playing a spy in the show. Meanwhile, PeeCee was last seen in Netflix’s The White Tiger.
