With the Maharashtra Navnirman Sena’s threat looming over its head, there is one very big relief for ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and all associated with it. None other than Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Devendra Fadnavis has now come out in support of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and has issued a statement saying that any protests and violence regarding the movie will be dealt with sternly.
In an interview with a leading daily, Fadnavis stated, “The police have taken strict action against MNS today. Twelve members of the MNS who had gone to Metro Theatre to threaten them have been sent to judicial custody until November 4.”
Reportedly, around 12 members of MNS had entered Metro theatre in South Mumbai, and had asked them to not screen the movie. They were immediately arrested.

Earlier, even DCP Ashok Dudhe had issued a statement saying that they will not let anyone disturb the peace owing to the release of ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ and will ensure that everything is normal.
Though in spite of all the aforesaid MNS is still firm on its decision of protesting against the movie, let’s see how it all unfolds, when the movie releases on October 28.
‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’, helmed by Karan Johar, stars Ranbir Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anushka Sharma in lead roles, with Fawad Khan and Shah Rukh Khan in special appearances.
