“There was no cold war between Madhuri dixit and Juhi Chawla.” Mushtaq Shiekh clears the air

Gulaab Gang, the much awaited Bollywood film is all set for release on 7th March. The film has been in the news thanks to the casting coup that the makers of the film have managed to pull off. Gulaab Gang will see two of the most iconic actresses of Indian cinema working together for the very first time.

Both the actresses have been working in the film industry for over two decades now but have not had the opportunity to work on a project together. We spoke with Mushtaq Shiekh, the associate producer of the film and also the man who pulled off this unbelievable casting coup.

This is what he had to say about the two actresses, “ Watching Madhuri and Juhi working together has been surreal. Signing them for the film was all right but to watch them in action on sets was a completely different thing. They both are greats in their own rights. Contrary to the general belief, they both hit it off from the word go. One could not say that they were working together for the very first time. Such was their chemistry. There was no competition what so ever between the two. They got along like a house on fire and were a dream pair to work with.”

We can’t wait to watch the ruling queens of the 90’s on screen together. This one is a must watch for sure!
