A complaint against singer Papon filed for apparently inappropriately kissing a minor girl

Papon has sung some amazing songs like ‘Moh Moh Ke Dhaage’, ‘Humnava’, ‘Bulleya’, ‘Labon Ka Karobaar’, and others. Well, the singer-composer is currently judging a reality show – Voice of India Kids- that has landed him in a legal trouble.

Papon on his Facebook page did a live streaming session with the kids who are the contestants of the show. In the video, he apparently kissed a girl and this gesture has not gone down well with an advocate of the Supreme Court.

A Supreme Court advocate Runa Bhuyan has filed a complaint against the singer for inappropriately kissing the minor girl. ANI tweeted, “#Delhi: Supreme Court advocate Runa Bhuyan files a complaint against singer Papon for ‘inappropriately kissing a minor girl’ who is a contestant on a reality TV show.”

Papon’s manager, Partha Gogoi, told a web portal, “The act was not meant to hurt the sentiments of any individual, and that it was not wrong in any manner, which is why they see no reason to pull down the video from the official Facebook page of Papon.” The manager added that the girl’s father has also issued a statement requesting media houses to not “drag the issue.”
