Confirmed! Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Anil Kapoor all set to team up again after 17 years

There were reports that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan has been roped in to star in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s ‘Fanney Khan’ which stars Anil Kapoor as the male lead. However, there was no confirmation about the same.

But now, the co-producer of the film, Prernaa Arora, confirmed to a tabloid that Ash has agreed to do the film. Prernaa said, “We go on the floors by the year-end. It is a happy, slice-of-life film. We approached Aishwarya for the part and are glad she agreed to come on-board.”

Aishwarya and Anil were last seen together in ‘Humara Dil Aapke Paas Hai’ in 2000, and now after 17 years the two will be reuniting on the big screen. We are sure fans of Aishwarya are very happy with this news.
