Confirmed! Fatima Sana Shaikh to star in Aamir Khan and Big B-starrer ‘Thugs of Hindostan’

There have been a lot of speculations about the lead actress of YRF’s ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ which stars Amitabh Bachchan and Aamir Khan as the male leads. This morning there were also reports that the shooting has been delayed because the makers have not finalised the female lead as of yet. Few days ago, a picture of ‘Dangal’ actress, Fatima Sana Shaikh, was doing the rounds of social media, and it was said that it was her look test for ‘TOH’.

Well, the actress, who had given the look test for the movie, has been finalised. YRF has roped in Fatima to play the female lead in the movie. The movie will be directed by Vijay Krishna Acharya, and while talking about Fatima, he says, “The role of the girl is pivotal to the film so it was crucial for us to find the perfect fit. Through a rigorous round of auditions and action workshops, we found in Fatima a truly dedicated actor and a gifted performer of action. The shooting of ‘Thugs of Hindostan’ kickstarts on June 1, 2017, and it is slated to release on Diwali 2018. Well, we wonder if Fatima will be seen romancing Aamir in the movie or not as in ‘Dangal’ the actress played the actor’s daughter.
