Confirmed! It’s Rajkummar opposite Aishwarya in ‘Fanney Khan’

There have been a lot of reports speculating which actor will be starring opposite Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in ‘Fanney Khan’. Reportedly, Rajkummar Rao, Vicky Kaushal and R Madhavan were being considered for the film, but it is Rajkummar who has grabbed the opportunity to romance Aishwarya.

Rao is currently in Poland where he is shooting for Hansal Mehta’s biographical series, ‘Bose’. While talking to Mumbai Mirror from there he confirmed that on Tuesday, producer Prernaa Arora informed him that he has been roped in for the film. Rao said, “We’re friends and have been discussing films for a while.”

Talking about Ash, the actor stated, “She’s the most beautiful woman in the world. It’s a great story, there’s a lot of love, and the content is not just entertaining but is detailed and different. There will be lots of workshops and readings once I am back.”

The movie is set against the backdrop of music, and reportedly Aishwarya will be seen playing the role of a singer in the film. Well, it will surely be interesting to see Rajkummar romancing Aishwarya on the big screen. Directed by Atul Manjrekar, ‘Fanney Khan’ also stars Anil Kapoor in the lead role. Few days ago, there were reports that the movie tackles the issue of body shaming, and that is one of the reasons why Aishwarya has taken up the role. The actress was trolled for her weight gain after she gave birth to her daughter, Aaradhya.
