CONFIRMED! Kareena Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor’s ‘Veerey Di Wedding’ to go on floors in August

When we talk about the much-anticipated movies, the name of ‘Veerey Di Wedding‘ is bound to appear in that list. This film will witness actresses Kareena Kapoor Khan and Sonam Kapoor sharing screen space together for the first time on big screen.

Reportedly, the film had been postponed for a year over some issues like Kareena’s pregnancy or the court case with Jimmy Sheirgill’s Punjabi film ‘Veerey Ki Wedding’ over the similarity with the film’s title. But, finally there’s a big good news for the fans. While talking to a news portal, Rhea Kapoor has said, “Yes, it’s going to go on floors in August and we would be shooting a little bit of it in May though, minimally, but Sonam is going to finish ‘PadMan’ and Dutt first.” [sic]

“And of course Kareena, she has not really gone away. She just had a human being and now it’s going to be her time to get back to work and I am so excited. So August seems like the ideal time and we will finish it in one shot. It’s a 55-day film and it’s going to be great,” added the producer. [sic]

Well, it is a good news for all Kareena Kapoor fans who would rejoice to know that she will be back in action soon post her maternity leave after son Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi’s birth.

Directed by Shashanka Ghosh, ‘Veerey Di Wedding’ also stars actresses Swara Bhaskar and Shikha Talsania playing pivotal parts in it.
