Confirmed! Parineeti and Arjun to star in ‘Namastey Canada’

Parineeti Chopra and Arjun Kapoor attained stardom right after their film ‘Ishaqzaade’ became a hit. Since then there has bee no looking back for them. Both of them have successfully built their career and are putting in their best efforts to sustain it. Well, for all those who have loved their chemistry in ‘Ishaqzaade’, here’s a good news. Parineeti and Arjun have been roped in to feature in one more film together and that is ‘Namastey Canada’. This film would be directed by Vipul Amrutlal Shah.

Parineeti took to her Twitter handle to share the news. She tweeted,

Reports had it that ‘Namastey Canada’ is a sequel of Akshay Kumar and Katrina Kaif’s ‘Namastey London’, but in his latest interview with TOI, Vipul Shah cleared that it is not a sequel of any film. He stated, “I want to set the record straight. ‘Namastey Canada’ is not a sequel to ‘Namastey London’. I thank Akshay for standing by me and being graceful about sharing the title with me. I’m also happy that Arjun and Parineeti agreed to join me on this journey. I hope this film becomes one of their best outings together.”

Arjun stated that he is quite excited for this project. “I’m excited to be a part of this project. After working with giants like Amitabh Bachchan and Akshay Kumar, he has chosen me. ‘Namastey Canada’ has heart and humour, making it a family entertainer,” said the actor.
