Since few days, reports have been doing the rounds of internet that the release date of Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone’s magnum-opus ‘Padmavati’ has been pushed to the year 2018. Post the vandalising incidents on the sets of the Sanjay Leela Bhansali-directorial, reports claimed that there is a delay in the shooting schedule of this film and hence, the release date of the film is getting delayed. But now official confirmation has come in that ‘Padmavati’ is on schedule and it will release on November 17, 2017.
Trade analyst, Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter handle to break this news. He posted,
This news has come as some relief to all Ranveer and Deepika’s fans who are desperately waiting to witness the grandeur of ‘Padmavati’. Last the trio of Ranveer, Deepika and Sanjay Leela Bhansali had teamed up for ‘Bajirao Mastani’ and we were in awe of the magnificent film.
The film ‘Padmavati’ is based on the life of queen Padmavati who performed jouhar to save her pride. Deepika will be essaying her role while Ranveer will play Allaudin Khilji.
