CONFIRMED! Shah Rukh Khan and Vijay Sethupathi to collaborate together in Jawaan- Deets inside

Superstar Shah Rukh Khan starrer Jawaan, also starring Nayanthara, is one of the highly anticipated films of 2023. Considering that SRK will be seen in a full-fledged role after Zero (2018), fans are waiting to see King Khan onscreen with bated breath. As fans are super excited to see Shah Rukh Khan collaborating with a South director Atlee for Jawaan, we hear another South star joining the cast. That’s right! And he is none other than Vijay Sethupathi.

Just recently, Vijay Sethupathi’s publicist Yuvraaj tweeted about the actor’s upcoming movie line-up and revealed that the Vikram Vedha actor will be featuring in SRK starrer. He will be playing the role of antagonist and fans are super psyched to see both stalwarts together onscreen. Moreover, he also revealed that he will not be making an appearance in Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna starrer Pushpa: The Rule. 

Vijay Sethupathi’s publicist’s tweet read, “This is to clarify that #VijaySethupathi sir is doing a negative role only in #ShahRukhKhan sir’s Jawan at this point and that he is not playing a negative role in any other Telugu projects as is being speculated. @VijaySethuOffl”.

Earlier, during the Indian Film Festival of Melbourne, Shah Rukh had very graciously praised Tamil star Vijay Sethupathi for his brilliant performances. When it was the Bollywood superstar’s turn to speak, he turned to Sethupathi and said, “I don’t know how to say this and I want to compliment you. You are the most wonderful actor I have ever seen in my life.”

Responding to his gracious compliment, Vijay Sethupathi said, “Maybe by mistake! (laughs), I was so happy, I didn’t expect that. I didn’t know whether he knows me or not; suddenly he comments this and I was so shocked.”

Vijay Sethupathi is going to feature in several Hindi projects, making him the pan-India star. Apart from him sharing space with SRK, Vijay will also be working with Katrina Kaif in Merry Christmas and Shahid Kapoor in Raj & DK’s untitled next.
