Rahul Dholakia’s trailer of ‘Raees‘ starring Shah Rukh Khan and Mahira Khan was unveiled today and it has been trending on top ever since. And why not? SRK who plays the titular role of Raees Alam is earning appraise for his portrayal of a bootlegger who turns into a liquor baron. The trailer depicts SRK’s character say the dialogue “Ammi jaan kehti thi koi dhandha chhota ya bada nahin hota aur dhandhe se bada koi dharm nahin hota” and the obvious question on every person’s mind is who would be playing the role of his mother.
Now, a leading entertainment web portal has reported that the role of his mother is essayed by actress Sheeba Chaddha. Sheeba is a well-known actress and has worked in movies like ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam’, ‘Delhi 6’, ‘Parzania’ and ‘Talaash’, to name a few. Sheeba and Shah Rukh Khan share an interesting similarity. Sheeba has a degree in English Honours from Hans Raj College of Delhi. King Khan has also completed his graduation from the same college. Sheeba is a talented actress and we are damn excited to see her essay the role of SRK’s mother in the film. Also, in real life, Sheeba is almost 7 years younger to SRK. We are assuming, since the character is speaking about his mother in past tense, that Sheeba will be shown as the child-SRK aka Raees’s mother.

Pakistani actress Mahira Khan plays King Khan’s love interest in the movie while Nawazuddin Siddiqui plays the role of a police officer. The movie will be releasing on January 25, 2017.
