CONFIRMED! These two actresses will play leads in ‘Judwaa 2’

The makers of ‘Judwaa 2’ have finally chosen the two leading ladies. Jacqueline Fernandez and Taapsee Pannu will be paired opposite Varun Dhawan, who plays a double role in the film. It is going to be helmed by David Dhawan, who directed Salman Khan-starrer ‘Judwaa’ as well.

‘Judwaa 2’, at the same time, marks Dhawan’s reunion with producer Sajid Nadiadwala. The two had last collaborated for the 2004 blockbuster ‘Mujhse Shaadi Karoge’.

Jacqueline and Varun earlier paired up for ‘Dishoom’ which was produced by Nadiadwala Grandsons as well.  On the other hand, Taapsee’s performance in ‘Pink’ garnered bags of appreciation and we’re eager to see how she delivers a comedy.

Interestingly, Taapsee kickstarted her Bollywood career with a comedy flick. Directed by David Dhawan himself, ‘Chashme Baddoor’ was not critically acclaimed, but was a commercial success.

Dhawan is a king in his own genre, i.e. comedy. Over the years, he has kept on giving us super hit films like ‘Biwi No. 1’, ‘Coolie No. 1’, ‘Partner’, and many more.
