Contrary to rumours, Akshay’s ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ has not been leaked

There have been murmurs and rumours that Akshay Kumar and Bhumi Pednekar-starrer ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha‘ has been leaked. Apparently, a guy has the entire movie in a pen drive which was found in a gym. However, these rumours are far from true. According to a source close to the movie, these rumours are untrue and completely fake. Well, the reports suggested that the guy in question had stated that he would leak the movie online. But, reports in a leading web portal have stated that it has been proved that it was a mere publicity gimmick and not true at all.

The movie has been embroiled in quite a few controversies but that hasn’t deterred the spirit of the entire team, which is all geared up for the movie, which will be releasing on August 11, 2017. (Also Read: ‘Toilet – Ek Prem Katha’ producers have denied allegations of copyright infringement)

The story revolves around Keshav (Akshay Kumar) and Jaya (Bhumi Pednekar) who get married and reside in a village. However, after marriage Jaya discovers that since his house doesn’t have a toilet, everyone, especially the ladies, have to go far from their houses to relieve themselves. She doesn’t take this lightly as she considers it unhealthy, unhygienic, and most importantly, unsafe. That results into a huge tiff between them. It’s then that Keshav decides to take up the cause of building toilets in his village inside every household. Will he be successful in his cause? Will Jaya reunite with Keshav? Will the villagers agree to Keshav’s condition? All these questions will find their answers in the movie.

The movie is helmed by Shree Narayan Singh and produced by KriArj Entertainment.
