‘Coolie No. 1’: Varun Dhawan gives a Coronavirus-twist to the new poster

Varun Dhawan has been waiting for the release of ‘Coolie No. 1’ since a while now. The film was supposed to hit theatres on May 1 and go on to become one of the biggest blockbuster hits of the year. However, all the plans of the movie’s release were washed away as the Coronavirus pandemic hit the world hard. Theatres got shut down, and people were locked up in their homes. However, now that things are finally opening up slowly and steadily, Varun Dhawan has gone ahead to share a new poster of the film, but this time it has a new twist.

Varun took to his Instagram to share the poster, and he wrote along with it, “? #coolieno1 (sic).” Have a look at the picture right here:

Well, we must say keeping in mind how masks have become the new ornament of the human race, this poster sure looks apt.

However, what is surprising is that Varun didn’t share any information about the film’s release. Last we had come to know that the makers of the movie didn’t want to opt for an OTT release, and were eagerly waiting for theatres to open up and then go forth for a release date. But with Varun now sharing this new-age poster, we are hoping that maybe the filmmakers have struck a deal with some OTT platform, and there might be an announcement soon. Who knows!
